Battles in real time
Battles aren’t pre-calculated, but happen in real time on the map. Anyone can join or leave the battle at any time, enabling RTS (Real Time Strategy) in the game in real time. Do you see the allies being attacked on your territory? Send troops to help your friends, or launch a surprise counterattack on the invading city.
Unlimited world map
All in-game action takes place on one large map populated by two players and NPCs (non-player characters). There is no separate base or separate battle screen. The unprecedented unrestricted zoom feature in mobile games allows you to move freely between view of the world and individual cities or barbarian outposts. The map features include natural obstacles such as rivers and mountains, and strategic paths that must be mastered to reach the surrounding areas.
Eight unique civilizations

Exploration and investigation
The world of Rise of Kingdoms was shrouded in dense fog. Send a scout to explore this mysterious land and discover the treasures hidden there. Check out lost temples, barbarian forts, mysterious caves and tribal villages, collect information from the enemy, and prepare for the final grand battle!
Unlimited movement of forces
New orders can be sent to the forces at any time, providing endless strategic possibilities. Launch a sneak attack on enemy city, then turn around and meet allied forces for a pass. Send soldiers to collect firewood from a nearby forest and have them take some barbarian clans as hostages on their way. The force of the forces can also be divided among multiple commanders, so that you can perform several operations simultaneously.
Alliance system
The Alliance feature allows players to help each other: Alliance chat with built-in translation function, Officer Positions, map indicators for strategic coordination, and more! Alliances can develop territories to acquire natural resources, master trails in the mountains, and barbarian functions to consolidate their positions, and work together for group achievements.
Conquer the kingdom

Summon dozens of historical figures to become leaders of your faith, from Julius Caesar and Sun Tzu to Joan of Arc and Kosunoki Massachig. Level up your leaders by defeating the barbarians and sending them into battle, then upgrade their abilities using the RPG talent tree and skill system.
